Welcome!

Located on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, Paonia and the North Fork Valley have something for everyone. A population of 1600 in Paonia and another 4000 in the surrounding North Fork Valley, means small town living at it's best.

Paonia Organic Fruit Both town and the surrounding mesa tops have breathtaking views of the West Elk Mountains and the Grand Mesa. Nearby is the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

There is never a shortage of rivers to kayak, mountains to climb, streams and lakes to fish, wilderness to back pack, or country roads to bike. In winter, downhill ski at Aspen or Powderhorn, snowmobile, snow shoe or cross country ski minutes away on the Grand Mesa.

This is Colorado's wine country. Warm western breezes combine with cool mountain breezes to create the best fruit growing region in Colorado.

Kayaking In your home orchard, you can grow cherries, peaches, apples, pears, plums, grapes, berries; while in the vegetable garden you'll have tomatoes, peppers, green beans, carrots...even melons.

You can have small town living with big town culture. Check out a concert at the Blue Sage Center, it may be a classical sax that's played Carnegie Hall or a Mountain Harvest Festival weekend full of music venues playing at both the Blue Sage Center and the Paradise Theatre.

We came to this cute mountain valley many years ago and have never regretted a minute of living here. If you are thinking of moving here, please give us a call. We'd love to talk to you about this wonderful valley.

Come be our neighbors . . .
